These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of Gatekeeper (“the Bot”, “we”, “our”).

1. Acceptance of these Terms
By adding Gatekeeper to a Discord server or using Gatekeeper’s registration features, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Gatekeeper.
2. What Gatekeeper provides
Gatekeeper provides Discord server onboarding tools, including:
- Registration forms
- Community type selection
- Application review
- Voice interview booking
- Accept and deny buttons
- Role-gated access control
3. Server owner responsibilities
Server owners and administrators are responsible for:
- Configuring Gatekeeper correctly
- Setting Discord role and channel permissions correctly
- Reviewing applications fairly and lawfully
- Managing who has the Registration Admin role
- Complying with Discord’s Terms, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms, and applicable laws
- Responding to user questions or deletion requests related to their server
4. User responsibilities
Users must not:
- Submit false, abusive, hateful, illegal, or harmful information
- Attempt to bypass server onboarding
- Abuse Gatekeeper’s commands, buttons, or forms
- Use Gatekeeper to harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
- Use Gatekeeper in a way that violates Discord’s rules or applicable laws
5. Admin permissions
Only users with the configured Registration Admin role or Administrator permissions should manage applications.
Server owners are responsible for making sure only trusted staff have these permissions.
6. Availability
Gatekeeper is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee that Gatekeeper will always be online, error-free, or available in every server at all times.
7. Data and privacy
Gatekeeper processes registration and server configuration data to provide its features.

8. Removal from a server
Server owners may remove Gatekeeper from their server at any time.
The bot owner/operator may disable or restrict access to Gatekeeper for servers that abuse the bot, violate these Terms, violate Discord policies, or create security risks.
9. No warranty
Gatekeeper is provided without warranties of any kind, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or uninterrupted operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the bot owner/operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of Gatekeeper.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when Gatekeeper changes. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
